Decent value on first order

I was looking for a healthier option for my bulldog and saw Get Joy's Fresh Beef Meal. I managed to get a pretty good first-time discount, which made the price much more manageable. The food arrived quickly, and my dog seems to enjoy it. Without that initial discount, it would've been a tougher decision, but I felt like I got good value for what I paid. I'll probably keep an eye out for more offers.

My pup's new favorite!

Okay, so I bought the Chicken Freeze Dried Raw for my super active border collie, and he absolutely devours it! He's usually a slow eater, but not with this! The bag arrived in perfect condition, super fast shipping too. I'm so happy I found this brand. His coat looks shinier already. Definitely getting more soon!

Always reliable, great food

I've been ordering Get Joy's Fresh Chicken Meal for my golden retriever for about a year now. This last order was just as consistent as the others. The quality is always top-notch, and my dog absolutely loves it. Delivery was prompt, arriving in 3 days, just like usual. They've really nailed the reliability aspect, which is why I keep coming back.

Dog loved the treats

Got some Freeze Dried Organ Meat Treats for my pug, and she went crazy for them! Seriously, she usually turns her nose up at new things. They arrived pretty quick too, in 4 days. Easy to order, no fuss. Happy dog, happy me.

Good food, minor shipping hiccup

I tried the Freeze Dried Raw Meals, specifically the Beef, for my picky eater. He took to it well, which is a big win. The quality of the food seemed really good, and I like that it's vet-formulated. My only small gripe was the shipping; it took 6 days to get here in Texas, which felt a bit long, especially for food. Customer service was helpful when I inquired, though. Overall, a solid product, just hoping for faster shipping next time.

Detailed Fresh Turkey Meal experience

I decided to try Get Joy's Fresh Turkey Meal for my older lab, who has some sensitive stomach issues. The ordering process online was straightforward; I set up a subscription without any trouble. Delivery to my home in Atlanta was surprisingly fast, only 3 days after I placed the order, and the packaging kept the food perfectly cold. The transition guide they provided was useful, and we slowly introduced the new food. So far, her digestion seems better, and she's more energetic. I appreciate the human-grade ingredients and the fact that it's vet-formulated. The portioning guidelines were also helpful in ensuring she got the right amount. I had one quick question about storage, and their online chat support responded within minutes, which was great. It's a bit pricier than kibble, but for her health, it feels worth it.

Does anyone know if they have a military discount? My husband is active duty.

I Ian 22 hours ago
I've seen it mentioned! I think they do. Check their FAQ or a quick google search should confirm. My friend used one.

Yeah they definitely do. I saw it on their site somewhere when I was signing up for my subscription. I think you just have to verify your status.

Hey guys, thinking about trying the fresh food for my picky eater. How long does it usually take to get here? I'm in Chicago.

A Amanda Mitchell 4 days ago
Mine usually gets to me in like 3-4 days in Michigan, so Chicago should be pretty similar I think. They ship it frozen.

Yeah, I'm in Ohio and it's always been pretty quick, like within the week. Never had an issue with it thawing out during transit either.

Thinking of switching from The Farmer's Dog. How does Get Joy compare? Is it worth the price difference?

N Nancy Moore 1 week ago
I switched from Farmer's Dog a few months ago. Get Joy's fresh food feels a bit more substantial, and my dog's gut issues are definitely better. The freeze-dried option is also a nice convenience for travel.

For me, it's the vet-formulated aspect and the gut health focus that sets it apart. My dog's poop has never been better, honestly. Worth the extra few bucks if you can swing it.

My dog has a really sensitive stomach. Should I try the Belly Biotics, or just stick to the regular fresh food first?

O Olivia Harris 1 month ago
I'd probably start with just the fresh food first and see how your dog does. My dog had sensitive stomach issues too, and the fresh food alone made a huge difference. You can always add the Biotics later.

Definitely transition slowly! The fresh food itself is pretty gentle. The Biotics are good for an extra boost but the food might be enough on its own.

I want to try the salmon freeze-dried raw, but I'm worried about portion sizes. How do I figure out how much to feed my medium-sized dog (about 40 lbs)?

B Ben 2 weeks ago
They have a pretty good feeding guide on their website, usually based on weight and activity level. I'd start with their recommendation and adjust based on your dog's energy and if they're gaining/losing weight.

L Leah 2 weeks ago
Yeah, just check their site. It's usually pretty clear on the packaging too. For 40lbs, it'll probably be a few cups a day, but depends on if it's their only food or a topper.
